The SURF school CHASSEURS DE VAGUES has been in existence since 2009. We offer courses and surfing courses with qualified and professional instructors and will introduce you to the best local spots. For the winter months Wave Hunters organizes several surf trips for experienced surfers in the safi/Oualidia region or south of Agadir.

Everything on surfing, courses, materials and advice is provided by Najib, a native of Safi who has driven the wave from all over the Atlantic coast of Morocco. Najib has gained a lot of experience as a monitor. He has worked in the first surf schools in Morocco since 1995. In the last twenty years he has not only improved his own style, he has professionalized himself as a coach and trainer. He founded his own school “CHASSEURS OF VAGUES Surf School Mirleft” in 2009.

Surf Youga

To keep your body in inner balance, we invite you to yoga and relaxation on the beach. Depending on your surfing program this takes place in the early morning to get your body ready for surfing or we reschedule the date to the evening to relax the muscles and the spirit.

Surf Coaching

Najib is working together with a team of professional surf coaches, most of which he knows for a long time from his hometown Safi. Together they guarantee not only very high quality in all surf courses for all ages and levels, but also a friendly atmosphere…and lots of fun. So relax and discuss with the surf coaches at our terrace after your surf lesson to drink a “Thé à la menthe” and enjoy the sunset…

Surf Trip

Between November and February the Surf School Hunters of Waves offers surf trips for experienced surfers in the Safi region or south of Agadir, where you can find the most beautiful waves of Morocco, as well as the best surfers, who come to train there in the winter.

Surfing Course

Discover or progress in surfing with minimum one-week courses for all levels, including two surf sessions a day with physical training, and beach sports. Accommodation and food are arranged for you and also trips to surf the best spots in the area. Ask for different possibilities...

Surf Lessons

Surfing classes are for all ages and levels (beginners, experienced, or "wave hunter"). The sessions last 1 1/2 hours and include theory, warm-up and yoga-streching, then all-you-can-eat surfing.
